Emily Ryan is a landscape architect emeritus, business development strategist, and founder of Connect For (business development coaching practice) and Neighbor. She graduated from the University of Georgia’s College of Environment and Design with a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture, then began her career practicing landscape architecture in Austin and Dallas, Texas, with a range of respected firms.

Over the course of her career, Emily grew from designer to principal, leading client relationships, pursuits, and strategic growth across the design and development industry. She later transitioned into business development, leaning into what has always come naturally to her: building trust, connecting people, and creating meaningful cultural connections that lead to stronger work and deeper impact.

Today, Emily brings together her design background, leadership experience, and love of human connection through her approach to landscape design. She loves creating spaces that shape people’s lives; bringing peace and beauty to the places people call home.
